The footrace is on fkr first to scale; China vs EU (maybe Israel, UAE and Australia in the mix).
Crazy to say it but maybe for the first time in over a century, the US are in the dust on this tech race. With all the biblical senators in play maybe even the UK might steal a march… just kidding
You may have a point if Mosa Meat was a run of the mill burger joint. However, it is worth reminding ourselves that this is the first company to ever make a lab meat burger (back in 2013). Over a decade ago to make that burger was around €250k, today it is €9.
It would be a mistake to think the kind of innovation take can be acheived on the cheap. The latest fundraise will outline strategy to market. A more reasonable and less reactionary concern would outline the problem around regulation: The EU is not a solo voice on lab meat, the UK is slow, the US is a non starter so maybe Asia. But Asia is not the ideal market for beef.
You could also point out that Meatly (lab meat for pets), got to regulatory approval on under £10m. But Meatly make chicken and the process was further advanced when they set up.
Either way, unless there is a reason you are not elucidating, for a nascent industry, it is a celebration and not a red flag.
how much money did you lost with your Agronomic investment?
You start posting on May 2022 when the stock was £19, now is £4… So 80% loss so far…
Time to move on from this stock?
Perhaps to be entirely clear for your benefit, year three of 20 means I have not sold a share.
Also, the share was 22p not £19. What drivel!
As an aside, I have noticed a steep increase in anti ANIC sentiment which only happens on this share when progress is being. When times are hard for the share price in here it is mainly quiet, and yet now… welcome Sonny and co., all light relief from reality is welcome
