AMC Entertainment - AMC - Share Chat

So good news everybody. Apparently we get free popcorn if we go to the Cinema in the US.

I knew there was a reason I bought this stock.

Today was quite interesting. I was hooked on my screen. Pity it did not go back up until 75 but I think that tomorrow will be interesting. I was a bit skeptical yesterday when the price stayed relatively low but it looks like the big rise was just one day delayed. Anyway, I am looking forward to tomorrow.
I did tell a friend to sell a few shares as he is in way deeper than me and he is actually saving for a house deposit so he better locks in those profits.

I would suggest people set trigger points $1 below a round number :+1: So many people will have $75 or $100 triggers and similar numbers above. Where ever the tipping point is it would be better to be in the trigger $1 before it is too high :joy:

It could still go a lot higher of course but I would guess many are covering their initial outlays before holding out for a big win.

Edit - after hours touching $71 already :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yes that’s right, it normally takes a day or two, I think that’s fairly typical

Mine is 30 days, which is fairly typical although some roles may be longer.

Every trade, even adding to an existing position. Broad ETFs are typically excluded however and aren’t subject to the same constraints.

I’m also completely excluded from trading financials (not typical, a quirk of my job) but outside of that they are all fairly standard restrictions - I’m not surprised @CTE is in a similar situation.

One thing that’s quite common is being restricted to a set of approved brokers as well (presumably because they are integrated and can automatically check your positions without submitting/reviewing evidence manually). Also the same restrictions will apply to immediate family.

It’s annoying in that it prevents you from joining in the games, but it does force you to be more disciplined investor.

Grow up James :+1: No need to be that way. People invest in the way that benefits them not some random new account on a forum.
