Depends how you define long. It’s been going up for over a year, it’s only just rolling over now.

The proposed levy on mining royalties in Chile is not good for Anto and whilst this seemed unlikely some months back it is becoming more plausible as the political landscape shifts. If the proposed royalty bill goes through it is likely to be negative future investment in Chilean copper production and costly for miners who operate there. On the other hand it could be very positive for copper prices.
