If Freetrade aren’t looking to update the interest earned on held cash, then the numbers going forward should be pretty impressive given the 5.25% Central bank rate.

Freetrade have added some money market ETFs, so I guess it depends on whether customers are using those to hold spare cash or not.

I’m actually holding a significant amount of uninvested cash at the moment and wish Freetrade would relook at their current interest offering which for all intent and purposes appears poor. Ironic that it was seemed so good when it was first introduced. I am looking at the money market ETF’s though while I decide on my next investment potentials.

Has anyone heard anything from Freetrade or Crowdcube about the CLN conversion that’s taking place with this round?

I think they said it’s triggered once shares are allocated this round, or something to that effect

The updates from FT have been quite scarce since the cc round closed…
There have been quite a few announcements about the brokerage space in the UK recently.
Would be great to have some comms in September or an AMA if possible on the recent updates. Feels like the forum definitely needs some engagement from FT.

Hey @szb thanks for the nudge. We’ll get something together towards September as people come back from annual leave and such. There’s quite a few things underway at Freetrade. Hopefully some exciting bits and pieces to provide updates on in short order too. But only can tease for now, I’m afraid. Will have to keep you guessing!

Let me check and you can also ping cosec@freetrade.io with questions like this @JTJB . I believe the 2022 convert will show up once the conversion has completed (which was triggered by the 2023 round).
