this thread started about 3.5 years ago - they just ignore such requests which is why I refuse to pay subscriptions and have just funnelled money to other platforms.
I’ve given up on Freetrade.
Did you move your GIA to HL?
No. After reading the horror stories on here about transfers and being booted to the back of the queue for having the audacity to chase up customer service, I’ll leave it as is and slowly sell my positions when it suits. My main GIA is with HL anyway and I started an ISA with T212 this year out of curiosity - they’ve added more features in the few months I’ve been on there, than the 4 years I’ve been on FT.
I got banned from this forum expressing my opinion about the price rises, which was the final nail in the coffin.
One GIA seems to be the best option anyway since you have to reconcile accounts regardless if you have more than one.
HL obviously offer it, but then you get what you pay for as they say. 212 do not
Banned previously, funnelled all money into other accounts and given up on Freetrade.
Got to ask why go to the hassle of creating a new account to come back and post?
What a strange thing to say. I’m not sure calling people goons is the best approach.
Regardless there’s lots of things that freetrades needs and can improve, a lot of it is how you go about voicing it.
HL obviously has been around for a long long time so these features are all there and you’ll pay for it. But then it took them the good part of a year or more to reintroduce bed and ISA, and that’s with their massive amount of staff to work on it. Not sure how they’d get on starting from zero
Things take time to develop, I’ve not seen anyone who doesn’t think freetrade is missing their special thing they want. Myself included. It’s a wanted feature of mine as well
More than a year on and we are still not getting anything like what we need in order to report on taxes. I am paying £5.99 a month for my account and I wonder what it is I’m getting for that? I was moving things over from eToro to Freetrade but this issue is going to cause me to move back now.

Doing so would launch Freetrade into the front rank.
As an initial investor I’ve been asking about this since launch but the directors have declined to provide an explanation why they won’t. every other trading platform provides this at the click of a button.

Morning all - we’ve been issuing tax certificates for the 2022-23 tax year over the last couple of days. If you check your activity feed on your GIA you should see it in there. If it isn’t showing up yet it should be there by the end of this week!
