Fractional Shares in ETF’s

I’ve been told fractional shares will only be available for buying stocks. As a ‘lower’ value investor, I’d like to be able to buy fractional shares in ETF’s as even some ETF’s are quite a large value to purchase. I guess a few others may see this as a benefit maybe…

This is already on the public freetrade roadmap, so will be implemented in 3-6 months roughly.

Any idea of the timescale on this? It would be great to have fractional ETF’s.

Hi,

I hope you can help. I have invested in EQQQ, and I am trying to pay on a monthly basis in this fund. But the app is not letting me invest a fractional share. Currently the price is 266 a share. And I want to invest £200 per month, but its bit allowing me.

What am I doing wrong?

I think if this function is rolled out, it can attract even more people to open an account on Freetrade.
