FT share price - IG agrees to acquire Freetrade 2025

Anybody else getting emails from Crowdcube asking for payment verification?

I go to the website rather than press the link and can’t find where to verify payment recieve details.

You need to go on the link. The one they sent you. And specifically said you have to click.

You need to follow the instructions in the email

In preparation for making the payment to you, please check and update your bank account details as soon as possible.

To check and update your details securely in your Crowdcube account, please log into your Crowdcube account:

  • If you are resident in the UK and Rest of World, once logged in to your Crowdcube account, please click on the following link and add your bank account details here: https://www.crowdcube.com/my-account/receive
    • For Rest of World sellers, Click on ‘Edit’ and choose ‘I don’t have a UK Bank account’ to add your IBAN and SWIFT. However, if you do not have an IBAN code, please enter your account number in the IBAN code field.
  • If you are resident in the EU, once logged in to your Crowdcube account, please click on the following link and add your bank account details here: https://www.crowdcube.eu/my-account/receive

Has anyone else been paid yet?

If 100 employees processed 100 investors each over 2 days we could have the payouts finished tomorrow.

Some have. I have not.

Wanna pull up at CC HQ to protest? :eyes:

20,000 investors. Pretty sure someone would have posted here if they had.

Hence the words, think and, if I recall.

Jesus a simple correction is all that is needed instead of flippant remarks

Thinking and wrongly recalling don’t really help people with their tax position though.

I just don’t understand commenting when you obviously don’t remember the answer.

So R3 eligible for CGT exemption, if other conditions are met?

Yes.

Click on the rounds on the right and you can see EIS eligibility.

Basically anything before 2021 is EIS.

That was the £2.51 a share round.

The gains from May 2018 are eligible for EIS CGT Disposal Relief.

As there is no indication that Freetrade lost its EIS eligibility.

I’m using dates because it’s clearer than Round 3.

Has anyone thought about actual legal action against Crowdcube? Maybe we could crowdfund representation :winking_face_with_tongue:

My query to CC has just been passed to the Portfolio team , whoever they are.

Depending on the reply I will be raising a complaint with the financial ombudsman. As a bare minimum I am looking for interest on a daily basis from the 4th April until funds are in my account.

I couldn’t agree more, these checks should of been carried out before as I’m sure they where updated about what’s going on that’s why we where send emails even about how many shares and total we where getting before they was even paid. Let’s sue them

Ever considered asking @adam to spot you whilst you are waiting for the payout? I’m sure he’s got his money by now.

It’s been sad to follow this. So much potential and excitement in the younger years.

As a much younger man. I threw £20 on crowdcube in 2016. I presume that was their first crowdcube raise.

£0.07 a share…

Funnily enough I moved to Sweden a couple of years later and was excited to get access to the EU app. But as an android user, never got to experience it (they only launched the iOS app in Sweden).

Still confused to why they didn’t go with Ireland as the EU gateway.
