The fewer days between two user counts, the more inaccurate it will be. In this case, its one day after the other. One sign up was likely in the morning of the first day and the second late on the second day. Its really impossible to know because we don’t record times.

Tldr: it might still be 500/day. We will know when we get another user number.

The uptick could also be getting fuelled by the recent additional lockdown restrictions meaning more peeps at home looking at the market performance and thinking I need to get myself some of this tasty action leading them to then discover the joys of FT. Similarly our critical mass is getting so big that even with the same x% of growth each week actual new user numbers with naturally accelerate. Would also be interesting to see if our competitors have seen an uplift similar, less or more than ours through the rising tide effect…

I read this article about 10 days ago in FT. Nice to have a bigger picture on the market growth and try to make a comparison between platforms - although limited information. Explosive growth in 212 AUM. Does anyone know Freetrade current AUM?
