Who are these people and are you privy to this being the case(regarding there being a high number of dormant accounts) . I would like to say that my account is dormant at the moment as I am waiting on the Freetrade investment pie and then I might transfer my ISA from Moneybox,but probably only if Freetrade enable automatic top ups from my bank accounts,which is about Ā£15-Ā£20 per week. It would be amazing if Freetrade maybe trialed this in partnership with Monzo

I canāt help but feel disappointed with the lack of announcement from FT here! The user number count passed 300k 6 days ago, ignoring the 3k test users, they should easily be above 300k by now. Are we that far out of tune or is this just a non event?
I remain hopeful that it comes combined with a bigger announcement, but should we not celebrate the āsmallerā stuff when it happens?

They may have decided internally only to announce 100K, 500K, 1M etc

It will probably get a mention when SIPP launches.
Itās like a billion AUM, I would have thought Freetrade has surpassed this figure by now especially with the markets being so bullish recently but I canāt recall seeing it mentioned anywhere.
With everything going on this year I would think a quick tweet at 300k would be great. I donāt think itās a bad idea to big up every 100k users up to 500k then 750k 1m 1.5m 2m 2.5m 5m etc etc

Also, the gap between 100k and 500k would be at least a year and a half. We should certainly celebrate milestones between that.

They may not want draw attention to user count if they will be emphasising MAU & AUM for the future funding rounds, those more useful metrics may look less favourable against a large total user denominator.
