Hi everyone!
As promised here’s an update on the MSCI China ETF dividend payment. The ETF provider made the payment on the 16th August 2019, however this wasn’t appearing correctly in our third-party backend system. While the dividend was received into a segregated account, this, unfortunately, delayed us being able to credit the dividend payment to customer accounts.
This dividend has now been paid to customers, and we’ve put an extra step in to prevent this occurring going forward.

Is there anything unique about this ETF or could there be other unpaid dividends that people just haven’t noticed? or even worse, Accumulators not accumulating the dividends automatically?

We can assure you that there are no others, and dividends have been paid out correctly.
We’ve also put in an extra step to make sure this is not a problem, if this was to occur again.

Thanks, Gemma. I know this is a frustration but most of us understand that Freetrade will work through these types of issues as they arise to come out stronger as they are resolved.

Yep, I can see the problem here. “Old” dividends are being cleared out for optimization. I’ll change logic so Freetrade securities are kept and other (non Freetrade) “old” dividends are cleared for space efficiency. Give me a while tho. This is a bit of process to keep my databases flowing nicely.

This is fantastic, are you able to do one for each month?
Sure - with the usual 95% accuracy caveat.
It’s automated from my side so super easy. I only throw it out as plain HTML for speed.
