Phoenix Group Holdings plc - PHNX

Just picked up some more (62 shares) as it dropped to £5.03. Sold some small amounts of Henderson Int and Claverhouse shares to do it. Avg is now £5.09 on 1748 shares.

Nice I’d love to break a thousand at some point.
I’m currently at the 600 mark so I’ve a long way to go :).
Enjoy the dividends!

My target is 2000 shares.

I diversified my portfolio a bit but in retrospect I wish I’d stuck to Phoenix and Lloyds. The growth would never have made me a millionaire but at least I could enjoy the dividends and I know with those two my investment is safe.

Oh dear big drop in the markets today.
Here’s hoping we get a recovery in the new year.

I managed to top up one more share this drop now at 610. This is very much a buy the dip share.

Any ideas on why this has dropped today? I can’t see any bad ons notices.
Just bought another 100 fill your boots at these prices

Seems like the bottoms dropping out the Gilt market. Taking anything that is interest rate sensitive with it!

Oh dear here’s hoping this recovers (I’m sure it will) in the meantime fill your boots. I would be quite happy to get my average under 5

I myself have bought another 200 in the last two days. I would buy more but I’ve run out of cash!

Have you added any more this time RCL? I’m up to 800 now should be at 1k by april

@Hyseb-21 I’m at 1815 now with an avg buy of £5.08. Unfortunately i can only rely on reinvesting dividends received in my ISA until the new financial year starts. Theres nothing in my ISA that I’m willing to sell at the moment.

Sold 15 DEC shares to buy 42 PHNX shares @ £4.817. Now hold 1857. Avg buy has barely moved. But getting closer to my 2000 share target.

November last year, I set a limit buy for £4.85, at the time I think the price was around £4.98 but rising.
A couple of days ago, I dropped my buy price to £4.75. I’ve just now dropped it again to £4.65.
Where is the bottom? - 2 months ago I thought it was around £4.85, now I’m thinking of buying in on Monday at £4.80

I just don’t get it we are going back to the same prices as this time last year except we have 250m less debt and an increased dividend.
I wonder if at these prices Phoenix will look into share buybacks perhaps? I see no benefit in increasing the dividend further as we are already over 10%
I’m at 835 now looking to buy another 100 at least within the next month.

Received my Polar Capital dividend and split it between PHNX (10 shares)and MNG (23 Shares). 1867 PHNX shares now and my AVG buy £5.0797.

To add some balance here to all the love, I have policies grandfathered into Phoenix, and they have by far the worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with. Like negligently bad. Do with that what you will :person_shrugging:

I have had similar issues with Coop pension policies that were bought up or granfathered into Royal London.

Just bought another 20 this morning my holding now stands at 855. There are some green shoots of recovery back to the 5 mark. If we are still under 5 by the end of the month I’ll top up my holdings to over 1000

And back to 5 we go. I managed to get my average down to 5.02 and nearly double my holdings so happy with that. I’ll wait till it drops again before acquiring more.
