The Nutrition segments offers tailored solutions for use in foods, beverages, pet foods, aquacultures, and cosmetics. This segment also provides preclinical screening services for skin, sebaceous glands, and hair. The company has a development partnership with c-LEcta for the development of an enzymatic process for the production of a flavoring agent. It operates in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North America, the Asia Pacific, and Latin America. Symrise AG was founded in 1874 and is headquartered in Holzminden, Germany.
