Musk knows that the specifics aren’t what generates the headlines. He was very detailed on his Sta City tie with Everyday astronought
Don’t doubt Musk knows an awful lot and proves doubters wrong but he does waffle a bit sometimes and ignore the question. A genius no doubt but sometimes simple technical is what people want to hear.
120% upside? Nice!
I’m in on RKLB, bagholding but DCA’ing, and I accept that it’s speculative but it’s probably the best space company on the market at the moment.
For some reason however, whenever there’s good news, the stock seems to tank.
Thanks for posting. Looking forward to the earnings on Monday, with some trepidation.
Set your alarms and brew some strong coffee for 23:00 on the 28th. Rocket lab are going to try to catch a falling booster with a helicopter!
BBC News - Rocket Lab: Helicopter catches returning booster over the Pacific
I initially read that as crashes! Thank god and well done to the RL team. Think I need a visit to the opticians
I watched the launch live. All payload was deployed successfully and the booster was caught but pilot let go for a soft landing shortly after as the pilot stated it flew funny after catching it.
RKLB launches have become so successful at launches that the market has already priced in the launch but reacted to the catch and release negatively. I’m long on this and happy to hold.
I’m afraid not. I really like Rocket Lab’s ability to become the small rocket hauler of choice. The macro-environment isn’t kind for pre-profit Companies but they’ll be in the black by Q3/Q4.
The Capstone mission on Monday should be very exciting, it’ll test rocket labs tech to the maximum and if it works make some good headlines.
Just watched the launch - as expected, a successful mission (so far). Compared to other publicly traded space launch companies Rocket Lab is so reliable and with time will be trading higher (imo).
Three launches planned during the next month with the first one being put back a day to the 13th due to bad weather.
Another successful lift off.
