Hi, was wondering if a free trade SIPP reduces the US dividend withholding tax of 15% to 0%. For example,
Held a US stock that pays a dividend. When that dividend comes in, it is taxed at 0% within a SIPP account.
Saw that AJ bell and Hargreaves Lansdowne do this with their SIPPs. I know we sign that form to get it reduced from 30% to 15%. But wanted confirmation to see if you guys handle it.
Cheers,
