Technology Minerals - TM1 - Share Chat

Ah bugger. This was my largest holding, gutted.

The factory was nearly like my 470 quid invested, gone up in smoke

I work in Insurance, it’s of no surprise at all to me that this has happened. This will happen moving forward as well. Everyone knows this will most likely happen, so what is important is how this risk is managed. In this instance, it appears as though it was managed very well, the fire contained and extinguished quickly. They will have loads of risk management procedures in place for a risk like this. As an investor it’s good to know the risk management worked and its business as usual as the result. Although on face value, this is bad news, it’s not that bad. I think it’s almost positive in a way as we know this will happen at battery recycling facilities, it seems as though this was managed/ handled well.

Also the best advert for the battery boxes.

I think battery fires are the least of Technology minerals problems :see_no_evil::smile:

Communication is by far their biggest problem

I find it very concerning that the ceo of Technology Minerals ( Robin Brundle) does not hold any shares in technology minerals.
Regardless I got out

Technology Minerals (TM1) is an exciting investment opportunity, especially as demand for sustainable resources grows. Their focus on battery recycling and mineral extraction aligns with the rise of electric vehicles. Notably, American rapper Jim Jones has shown interest in eco-friendly initiatives, which could draw more attention to companies like TM1. It’ll be interesting to see if his advocacy enhances TM1’s visibility in the market. Has anyone explored their recent developments or financials?

I like your enthusiasm, i have been invested now for 2 years so not as enthusiastic although i can see a path to success if the bod can get some deals over the line.

@MateoScott @MooPoo.
Likewise. I am 2 months shy of 3 years and I too was enthusiastic. I really liked the ethos of this company and had thought that they, and us, would be flying by now.
The only thing that keeps me from selling up, is that HUGE fat big red number I can see on my TM1 share page.
I’m loathed to sell at a loss and I’m resigned to the fact my £1000’s have probably gone and I don’t desperately need £365 (that’s what’s left)

Same here i was absolutely certain this company would fly but 3 years in and still no offtaker .
Every time we get close something else kicks the can back down the road.

When i 1st see TM1 & how they described them selves, as the 1st British company to recycle old batteries & lithium batteries, & how they were going to build recycling plants around the UK. I thought ok 5 year’s & we should see a good return on the investment. But now im thinking TM1 was just a temporary c/o address box for recylus, who are the real recycling company. Starting to think this is the end of the garden path i have been lead up with misinformation from the bod of TM1, who are on the bod of the separate company recylus. i think now maybe in 2 year’s time i might break even, if they are still operating.
