Elon has said heāll be talking about the product road map, this is something he said he wouldnāt do. It could be to distract from an earnings miss?
$67 is low, but it was down around $80 in 2020, I would say those stock price targets are way too high given the current headwinds and the current very high valuation compared to their peers.
The current crazy market has distorted a lot of peopleās view of stock prices IMO - they hit a PE of 1000 and are still on a PE of 300 - yes this is coming down gradually, and yes growth stocks may have a high PE, but TSLA is valued as if they are going to dominate the car market when that is far from decided.

Itās amazes me how far apart analysts can be. Earlier one was quoting NFLX at ~$150.
$67 is around 20x revenues as opposed to 295x that is currently trading at. This would be closer to the P/E of a traditional manufacturer - which Tesla isnāt.
When youāre pricing a stock, ignoring what itās trading at, you have to factor in future growth from todays numbers. This analyst is clearly not a fan of Netflixās ability to grow while keeping costs sensible.
Analysts covering a stable business like P&G or Unilever give a much closer price target.

Sure, but markets undervalue stocks as well as overvalue them so I donāt find that price incredible. Tesla has been undervalued before (pre 2020) and is currently still overvalued IMO.

Itās in Elon & Teslas best interest to create confusion over how to valuation them. All the while their over valued they get access to cheap capital and stock options keep people around / attract the best talent.

Iām old enough to remember Branson doing stunts for attention. I remember his balloon crash landing a stone throw from my house.
This is a twist on a similar ploy. We didnāt have social media in those days.
