That hammers those who don’t invest in shares currently with higher taxes and benefits the already well off, doesn’t really match Labours vision
These non investing people might not pay taxes, or very little if mostly earning within their personal allowance (possibly on benefits, min wage etc).
I think it is a guy with an agenda who is clutching at straws. Not exactly an independent source.
He even openly admits he’s quoting numbers he can’t verify. Clown!
Generally, it is no surprise that a labour government will look at places other than income tax to generate tax revenue. I’ll cross that bridge when it comes.
Just listened to that clip, talk about doom and gloom

As always, thanks for posting @ConsulinhoGaucho
I replied to you because it’s happy jammy dodger day for you but yea I just shared because of what he was saying.
Weidly there has been many which go along the lines of what he’s spiting as well.
I’m guessing then one started it and the rest followed lol we shall see.
I just got this notification from yahoo finance.
Just hope they don’t sting us lower earners for CGT, is currently £3000 and 10% for BRT shares sales. Putting that up to 20% would be annoying for Saye’s (unless transfering to an ISA) not to mention any further decrease in the allowance. If they put up the tax rate, maybe that can also put up the allowance to offset (straw clutching).
Yeah exciting waiting to hear the news lol
