Might as well be informed on all aspects of a subject, right?
I’m not saying technical analysis outperforms anything either. If pure fundamentals make you millions, then more power to you. If you’ve done the same through technical means, then ditto. Each to their own. Do what works for you.
I happen to use both. Fundamentals first and foremost, and once I’m in, I also pay attention to trend, volume, relative strength to the underlying index etc, and will sell or reduce my holding if a key long term moving average is broken to manage risk. If that is profitable for me, then great.
I’m not going to go on a crusade against anyone just because it isn’t ‘the way I do it’ though.
