Is the bubble about to burst?

Isn’t that every morning? :stuck_out_tongue:

I personally do not think any crash will happen until the inflation and interest rates raise. If they do raise. Then we will see what bitcoin and meme stocks in general are really worth.

Hopefully I am wrong and it will be sooner. The later it is the more painful it will be.

US inflation data on Thursday. Brace for impact.

Didn’t we just have that a couple of weeks ago?

Also, all this inflation stuff is kind of pointless as it’s done over 12 months, when right now it’d be more useful to compare to 24 months ago. I guess that means it might be bargain time again soon.

4 weeks ago. Some say temporary, some say it’ll be more persistent in time. I haven’t got an opinion about how long it will last, but I do believe it’ll be higher than last month and it’ll be another red day.

Why do you think stocks will crash when inflation is high? Historic data generally suggests the opposite if anything.

Keep an eye on the reverse repo market.

It happened in February and also happened last month. Many reasons, but the main ones being a sell off of US government bonds which immediately triggers equity sell off, and the possibility of an increase of the interest rates.

I’m not saying the markets are crashing on Thursday. In fact, who knows? A better than expected inflation could have the opposite effect and make stocks rally. One thing is for sure, the SP500 has been trading sideways for a month. It feels to me like a compressed spring, and it’s getting released on Thursday. Just not sure in what direction. My personal opinion.

Nasdaq isn’t going to break 14000 unless that inflation announcement is lower than expectations
