This is going to do a lot of people a favour I think.

Yep. It doesn’t help when retail trading companies - Freetrade most definitely excluded - make “mistakes” that allow their customers shares to be sold back into the market.

This is nothing short of disgraceful: https://twitter.com/eToroService/status/1356586377035603968

Bet people are happy they weren’t able to by into GME or AMC today haha. The inevitable post short squeeze dip back to normality is what we are seeing.

RIP GME

Isn’t the dip artificial if people can’t buy the stock only sell? The squeeze hasn’t happened yet if you look at the volumes it’s not crazy in regards to not being able to buy.

Not financial advise, but completely agree. If the rules are rigged overnight against the retailer, something is up.

The squeeze has happened in my estimation. Short % is at like 50% I believe on GME now so lots of degrossing has allowed for position exits

That was always going to happen. Did they say anything in advance? I just noticed when I went on the app and they weren’t there

Nope, I added funds this morning - nothing there - Then, maybe about 5 mins to market open, there’s a small ‘info/warning’ message on the investments tab.

Ah your seeing different short % to me, I’m overly cautious of the short volume as there is some rapid short ladder trading happening each morning then it’s gone by close. It’s very interesting to watch though.

If that is the case, then why the restrictions on stock buying during a dip in price?

Please don’t say that it is because the DTCC are looking out for the investor.

My money is on a short ladder attack. Volume is down and we can’t be allowed to buy that artificial dip in price.

A complete scam.

My silver position got destroyed today. Must also be those pesky short ladder attacks. /s

I think it’s clear silver is being used to cover the short.

So is this what the big boys do when they can’t win?

So what happens now ? Every time something happens they don’t like they just pull the plug ?

Is there a restriction on buying Silver? Ahh. nope.

Is silver being shorted over 5 years? Is silver being falsely pushed in the news? Is the 5th largest owner of silver also the largest shorter of GameStop?

Margin requirements.

Do you guys understand how hard it is to ‘short squeeze’ a commodity like Silver? It’s basically impossible because regulators have significantly more powers to halt trading if they suspect manipulation.

Margin requirements already going up.

Why can’t I sell? When I go to the sell screen it says I have 0 shares in GME when I have 4.9
