Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. better known by its initialism BBVA, is a multinational Spanish banking group. It was formed from a merger of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya and Argentaria in 1999, and is the second largest bank in Spain. The company is a constituent of the IBEX 35 and Euro Stoxx 50 stock market index.
I regularly listen to Fintech Insider and Blockchain Insider podcasts (if you don’t listen already you should!). BBVA staff are regular guests and I always like what I hear coming out of their mouths. Did not realise their long name is Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria… you learn something every day.
