🚀 Crowdfunding graveyard ⚰️

Crowdcube notification around Bitstocks liquidation.
Must have been a company I followed rather than invested in. Not quite sure on the use of emojis in an Update title for a liquidation. Doesn’t feel in any way professional, but I guess at this point it doesn’t matter from a business perspective.

Just found this discussion board… very interesting… thanks for all the contributions

People might be interested in this telegram group I’m involved with. 300+ members of early stage investors regularly discussing opportunities across multiple platforms.

I really enjoy the variety of thought/opinions in the group and the opps and views people bring to the group - found some great investments through others. All welcome. Cheers

The Vurger Co, my third ever crowdfunding investment has just announced they are going into administration. Sad times.

You are taking me to literally.
I was comparing funding rounds.
I assumed SRC would need to have more rounds than freetrade as the cost and as you put the complexity is much greater than freetrade.
Freetrade needs to start making a profit a decent profit or stay private.

Out of interest, have you had any winners?

I once had Michael.
Terrible, few grunts, sweaty and just unbearble

SRC have potentially bought themselves some more time if all the pledges received so far actually follow through. Hopefully enough to secure institutional funding.

Stem & Glory are going down

I read this and it sounds muddled… They are going to have a NewCo and offer more shares to existing investors in there BUT at a further cost?! Surely existing investors should not have to pay for these shares…

They are playing games,it has failed and will continue to fail.

Is that addressed to me?

The post is a reply to Elliot so I doubt it…

Reference SRC received an email saying they couldn’t accept less than £500 pledges.
Nowt from me then.
Possibility here they will go down and someone will come in and buy the business for next to nothing.
I think there technology is to far advanced for it lt not to be of use to other companies in the agricultural sector.

Mindful Chef, GoHenry, Nutmeg and MrandMrsSmith are my only winners.

Did they ever convert the CLN? I seem to recall endless promises to convert along with endless reasons why no cap on the share price was needed.

Glad I cancelled my investment when offered the second cooling off period. I learnt my lesson the hard way ignoring the second cooling off period with Emoov.

Very sorry for all those who have invested. If they didn’t convert there is a small chance of getting something returned as a creditor.

Is @SimonB1 talking about Freetrade? If he is then I agree. Not sure for the negativity.

Sorry I was replying to Dermside about Meatless Farm not about Freetrade.

Sorry I deleted my message

I can see the likes of Deere or Yara bidding for them if it comes to it.
