This company is a global supplier of residential wire for interior wiring in homes, apartments and manufactured housing as well as commercial and industrial buildings.
One of my holdings is going to get acquired by a rival. Expected to complete on the second half of this year. Has anyone gone though a cash acquisition of the company? Is the money going to be transferred to your cash balance? How long did it take?
Just sold my holding at $292 a share!!
And people still talk about efficient markets, I just sold a stock for more than the acquiring company was willing to pay and has been confirmed by both companies management.
Maybe investors expect another company to offer more than $290. I am happy to take a 60% gain in slightly more than a year.
