So I have been using Zeux for last few months now and thought of sharing my experience here.

I have initially deposited a £1000 to try out the Zeux app and the 5% easy access account. Was expecting a catch, as either deposit or interest withdrawal restrictions. It also took m some time to get comfortable with Wecash, who ultimately provide the 5% fixed interest through Zeux.

Then after some time I was comfortable enough with the product to increase my deposit to a more meaningful amount and must admit that so far my experience has been quiet positive. My interest earned through Zeux has already more than exceeded the interest that I am earning in my high street bank account with a much larger savings balance. Also, I have been making frequent withdrawals and deposits into my 5% Zeux account and have yet to experience any issues.

Would love to hear anyone else’s experience using Zeux. Perhaps I have been missing something…

Similar experience to yourself. I’m more than happy with the product so far. The app has worked faultlessly and the customer service emails answers clearly and promptly. The daily calculated interest is great and now they have a referral scheme, this too seems pretty good.

I was trying to find the catch. One of them is they limit the amount of money you’re allowed in the account, presumably to stop people just living off the unsustainable interest.

I fully expect the 5% to disappear in the future.

The 5% account is not FCA protected, so cannot really be compared to a savings account.

It will catch enough people out, as the whole app looks like a banking app. When people start losing large amounts of their actual savings then problems will emerge.

Has anyone had the BTC option (with all the other crypto currencies) removed?

Nope it’s there in my app

Hi Paul,
Do have a further update on the Zeux 5% savings rate?

I’m doing great with it. Over £20 in interest since I began a few months ago. Helped also by the referral credit. I have just under 3k in it. Really happy.

The thisismoney article was how I understood it when I looked at Zeux last year. I wasn’t convinced that converting GBP into crypto and then into CNY was more efficient than just converting GBP to CNY.

I don’t mind being paid by marketing to use a product. I have an account with Dozens, which the article compares Zeux to.

However, Dozens are really clear that they just take the interest from the marketing budget and place it into a trustee account that they can’t themselves touch.

I’ve used Zeux for about the same length as Grant, I can second that, great product have earnt over £50 in interest so far!

^read up

Hi, I’ve been using Zeux for over 6 months and no issues. I have a fair wedge in there, and have withdrawn and paid in with no issues. Their customer services is responsive and helpful. I know the 5% will be withdrawn at some point, so I’ll benefit as long as i can.

I know nothing about their crypto products, usd and bitcoin offering upto 10% returns. Can anyone offer and insight or experiences with this side?

Thanks.

A lot of those options are highly speculative. Essentially the crypto options make money by profiting from small movements in the crypto markets and cycling through these products picking up these gains. Nothing wrong with investing in them but be prepared for a major sell off in crypto markets to wipe out a large chunk of your investment.
