Helium One Global - HE1 - Share Chat

As ever, my playlist shuffle (over 2000 songs) has impeccable timing…

I think I’ll not check my FT account until I hear “the only way is up”…

Losing less than 50% is a hell of a lot better than 100%.

Thats if YOU think its going that way…

Yep my thoughts. It is just a case of hold atm.
I dropped my 1K in @ 0.041. This has brought my avg down to 0.0578.

Wake me up if it goes positive.

Think a few more might sell out first. Might wait until it’s about .375 an bring my average down.

This drill sage will just go on and on. I’ll be very (pleasantly) surprised if they drill this season. They just seem so incompetent.

I never massively saw buying their own drill rig as a good idea, and this is the kind of reason why. No way in hell I’d invest anymore. Just letting what I put in at IPO ride. It’s really a roll of the dice, and they keep rolling ones. But to make matters worse they also keep selecting dice that only have ones on them to start with!

Slowly?

Not really their fault that something broke… shit happens. It’s a minor setback & the helium isn’t going anywhere.

For me they look like a much more professional outfit compared to when David M was CEO…

I’m ready to snap up cheap shares from impatient people now.

They will probably use the new few weeks to do civils on the second drill site.

I think you are giving them way too much credit. The audited and decided to purchase the drill rig, they selected the crew to operate it, they decided what spare parts to stock for the rig they now own!

I’m invested in a decent chunk of explorers who are doing / have done drilling and so far HE1 is the only one to have the drill rig fail literally every time they try and drill. That absolutely raises some big red flags imo.

I feel I’m missing out on this helium company. It’s got tons of chat on it.

I take it everyone on FT has this stock?

Nope.

Might turn out good. Who knows… but its very speculative…

Absolutely do not fomo into it. It’s incredibly speculative and has a very poor track record of delivering. I’m not saying don’t invest but spend a bit of time to really understand the helium system they are investigating but also the company itself! I made the mistake of not looking into the second part enough tbh.

Yes I have never went for meme stocks etc before I just thought this one is always getting talked about.

The mistakes I made were buying micro penny stocks thinking well I’m new to investing and don’t want to loose cash so if I just buy these pennies stalks it’s no harm done but that was 2021 learned from that one lol.

Trick is don’t “invest” what you are not willing to loose.

We also has the same saying on the mmo space game eve online, “Don’t fly a ship you if you can’t afford to loose it”

If your ship dies to players or npc it’s gone forever unless you took out insurance but you only get the hull back and it costs a good bit, no guns, modules etc some land in the wreck in space for people to steal and some are detoryed for good it’s a random chance

Eve online has a market much like the stock market people have used it for their PhDs at uni.

Anyone spending £10k on shares yesterday would have made a nice £1700 by now

Someone spending £10,000 on shares a month ago would have lost £3000 by now…

Well they can’t order all the spare parts can they? Otherwise they would need a whole other drill…

I have no issues with them owning their own drill… Money is wasted on leasing - and they have no imposed time scales.

Idk. I feel like there’s a reason companies tend to subcontract these services, and this is exactly why. (Plus it doesn’t tie up a load of capital)

Agree. Owning their own drill is so much more beneficial long term. Its probably more cost effective long term too, plus knosing they own a drill rather than lease one for a set time period means they can plan/prepare other drill sites, which is exactly what they’re doing.

Its just a pain. By now I was hoping for SP to be over 10p, in profit and potentially even selling some. But, what is an extra two weeks on top of the two and a half years we’ve waited…

It’s frustrating, yes, and with every single stock there’ll be people in the ‘for’ camp and people in the ‘against’ camp. I’m optimistic and hopeful, getting slimmer by the week slowly, but still hopeful.

Had it got rid about a year ago and it doesnt seem to be able to avoid pitfalls since.
