If it drops to 4.5 again I may have to just spend a few more shekels.

I’m not very Au Fait with rigs? But it seems they’ve purchased a slightly lower-mid range drill to do the work?
Auto geared rig for continuous drilling without manual precautionary measures, must be the companies Achilles Heel! Seeing that it is just the rig, that is driving the downscale. The last part replacement took 4 weeks I think. I’d imagine a new hydraulics purchase replacement and installation could take much longer.
Hoping the wireline will prove to be a shinning light in the coming month.
Lorna looked totally deflated… let’s hope we hear some good news again soon enough.

This feels like a wipe is incoming. 27p seems pie in the sky, 10p looks remote, heck even 7p seems unlikely. They’ve got shows but the stick is still only going down. They solved their drill rig acquisition problem by purchasing a knackered old one and every time they make an official announcement the price drops.

Is there any chance of recovery? What do you guys think?

That’s what 2+ years of incompetence does.
Had they got their acts together 14 or so months ago then we would be looking at a completely different story.
They made the right call in buying a rig, but it was too late.
I still expect a small profit, but with all the red flags, I will not invest more, but instead look to sell some of my shares when/if the sp rises to 10p

Hydraulic pump issues are not totally uncommon and are not the end of the world. But the timing in this instance is really unfortunate.
It sounds like a low pressure problem, could be something simple like a by pass valve letting by due to a bit of shit under the seat.
But this is the game we are in and must expect it! On the positive side they are gaining good operational experience for the next well.
Just hope we have sufficient funds to pay for the repair and the various crews on standby.

I’ll be hanging on in there. Sadly HE1 isn’t even my worst loser. Jupiter I’m looking at you.

Agreed, certain things are out of HE1 control.
Biggest red flag besides their cash burn, is the civil works were only just completed to set this rig on, yet it is exactly this rig that was hired and missed due to legal reasons.
Too many fund raisers, and looking very likely for yet another. LB is talking about preserving funds already, so I’d hazard a guess Itumbulla will be delayed until more shares are sold at discount to fund it.

Many don’t realise this cool trick to seeing HE1 gains. Simply just rotate your screen 180deg and the graph goes up! This should work with most other stocks but with HE1 you will see it go up 10% day on day with this method!

Here’s hoping for a 6.5p close and a positive RNS Monday or Tuesday :crossed_fingers:

Hi Jamie, good comment about costs and take on board the comment about about civil works
My take on the civil works, as far as I can remember from the old photos, is that they were very basic and looked like they comprised of a large mass of concrete with maybe some rebar mesh to stop it cracking. No fancy shuttering. Actually something they are very good at out there especially as manual labour is cheap out there.
I think the big costs at present will be the wireline guys and their equipment. Also the overheads must be really heavy and every day will take its toll.
I believe we are in a survival situation and need to accept that it is going to cost dearly and consider this as a learning experience, unfortunately not a free one in this instance.
The next well has to be a totally different story. I am sure it will be with their recent operational experience s. The well after that will be like falling of a log. Maybe falling of a log is not the correct phrase considering the excellent HSE record on this job.
So hopefully we survive the nest couple of months and maybe the markets will take us more seriously and then see some significant increases.

Definitely survival mode, that is a good way of putting it.
My point about civil works, is that they should have completed way back when they were first contracting this rig. Seems to me as tho lies are being made in order to hide financial incompetence, raising funds for “future wells” when in reality it’s only just covering their present.
Cynical I know, but HE1 track record is shaky at best.
Optimism and faith will not pull us through this, we will only as investors succeed solely on helium extraction now. My humble opinion

I’m holding you personally responsible for the drop today!

I know … I’m sorry, any positivity on this stock sends it down :disappointed:

Financial incompetence are strong words Jamie and I expect others are feeling the same. If so any further investments by the boys in long trousers will be difficult and very expensive.

A good name in the City is worth it weight in gold or what ever rare earth metal is top of the hit parade at present.

Something that is weighing on my mind and I may be totally wrong but…

It sounds like this well is not gushing for want of a better expression. Also the concentrations of Helium being talked about seem quite low. I have read that values of 1% are considered commercially viable. It doesn’t fill me with confidence. Does anyone out there with helium processing experience have any comment.

I believe the fate of the company and our investment will be decided this week. I have broken so many of own investing rules with this stock. Except one, with a pure speculative stock like this, NEVER invest money you cannot afford to loose.

Good luck to you all.
