Iā€™m thinking about taking the plunge into this as I want to own a bit of gold just to steady the ship in the downtimes and keep plodding on. Has anyone researched this at all?

Is there any ETF/company that pays dividends of their gold mining? Strange request I know but it would be nice getting income as well as capital growth

Ye Iā€™ve spied it on DeGiro. Just doing a bit more research. Finki I will ask you more about the API one day! APIs are over my head!

Itā€™s not been updated for ages. So will now be buggy, slow and possibly incorrect. It was a very quick hack. But interesting idea. Maybe Iā€™ll go back to it. Most people seem only to care about FT and T212ā€¦ both are pretty easy to maintain electronically with no effort on my part. Hhmmm. Maybe I should tweak it. Caching it would help too. Seriously, quick hack! Donā€™t expect much! Itā€™s too slow!

It was intended to help with the question ā€˜can I transfer assets from X to Y brokerā€™

But since FT and T212 donā€™t seem to offer in specie it becomes a little void.

Hence I let it rot

Last time I even tweaked it was December whilst bored on contract with a big asset manager!!!

Hi Finki, the links says that GDFX is available on FT but I cannot find it under search. I checked both ISA and GIA. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Ah! That page/search is being completely rebuilt right now and somethingā€™s gone wrongā€¦ but itā€™s picking up that Freetrade set up a ā€œCosts and Chargesā€ webpage (http://public.freetrade.io/costs_and_charges/IE00BQQP9G91.html) So it did exist at one timeā€¦ but is no longer in app, correct. Sorry about that. Weird. New search coming soon.
