Will it go live all at the same time though? Or will it be a situation where it will be available on other platforms first, pushing the price up - and by the time freetrade gets it the price has increased

It’s not the same company, so it won’t go live exactly at the same time. Adding it involves entirely different workflows.
The price will most likely be up already though. That’s just the curse of being a retail investor.

Roblox is a kids gaming platform (available on iOS and Android) and is very very popular. It’s just filed it’s IPO so would be great to be able to invest in it once available.

Yes, the more shares available the better but RBLX is probably not a great buy at IPO, the current IPO price of $45 a share values the company $25bn, compared to its series G funding round (early 2020) which valued the enterprise at just $4bn. They still don’t make a profit.

They did triple their daily users in 2020 but similarly tripled their losses. One of the major problems is the revenue making part of the company seems to be in game purchases, and what parents really spend that much on in game purchases?

If it’s opening at $45 dollars a share I guess I ain’t getting in on this after all, was for whatever reason assuming a lot less ($5 region). Yes I’m super new at this :blush:

You can buy a fraction of a share for whatever you like.
