My understanding is that declaring your nationality is a bit like signing the US W8-BEN form when you signed up, and it’s difficult for FT to implement.

Rolls-Royce Holdings plc is a British multinational public limited company incorporated in February 2011 that owns Rolls-Royce, a business established in 1904 which today designs, manufactures and distributes power systems for aviation and other industries. Rolls-Royce is the world’s second-largest maker of aircraft engines and has major businesses in the marine propulsion and energy sectors.

Anyone got any good DD on Rolls Royce? They look like a good recovery stock, based on the currently depressed share price, and they should have good long term growth.

Assumptions being, the number of large aircraft flights will increase, more people in the world will be able to afford flights.
No obvious technological threats to current plane technology.
Governments unlikely to heavily regulate environmental aspects of flying as there is no obvious alternative.
Unlikely to be significant new entrants in the market.
Unlikely to go out of business as they are a strategic asset for UK govt, but that’s not to say the stock won’t perform poorly.

Just my opinions.

The products seem to have a strong moat and I like the company’s future post covid. One additional risk might be Brexit. Airbus leaving the UK soon(ish)/eventually might encourage them to shift suppliers in the long-run and integrate or develop more with Safran or MTU.

We’ll get it soon; its just soon has a loose definition .

As I say in above comment, it must be a complex operational feature to develop and with the current number of sign ups and crazy volatility its not high priority; which is understandable.

Its clear from the number of votes that its in hot demand, so keep on plugging RR and one day it’ll come

To be honest though, it would really help to know if this isn’t going to implemented this year. Portfolio management simplicity is a big deal for me; having a realistic timescale on Nat. Dec. roll-out would help to inform my investment decisions.

nationality declaration needs to be supported

Not Freetrade’s fault that nationality declaration is demanded. Rolls Royce is available on T212 because its T212 that owns shares bought by customers not customers themselves. This is something Freetrade doesn’t do. When a customer buys a share you own it not Freetrade.
