Series B announcement MEGATHREAD

I would say quite a few pounds, because a lot of them would have been from GME and therefore more likely to be short term or day traders, which FT is not designed for

Is that the full year or just December ?

Hence the reason I took the lowest estimate 150,000
Any way I’m estimating that at the year end Freetrade will be a unicorn,so it’s all irrelevant to me. I’m not selling for less than £20 a share

Agreed.
We need to be patient.
The only question is how they’re going to price the crodwfunding. Wanted to load up a few more shares.

That quote was lifted from their article without any modifications. It’s sounds like a month to me. If it was a year, then they’d say year to December?

Saying that, the language recently used when reporting on Freetrade is far more ambiguous than it needs to be.

How long will this opportunity stay open? I know I’m good from Round 2, but I’m not sure the EIS length has passed since Round 3.

The price might be disappointing but it’s based off a previous date and the current value of the shares which im guessing is what most people care about is going to be above this figure. In reality this price is most disappointing to someone who is looking to sell their shares, thankfully I’m not in that camp but I do feel for anyone who needs the cash now given current circumstances.

This just came in and might significantly boost Freetrade‘s share price in the next crowdfunding round.

It’s a lot of dilution at this point, but otherwise doesn’t really matter.

Very good to see!

That’s overly, overly, overly simplified. We have no idea how many active users, what the customer lifetime value is, what % of users are Plus members etc.

Why?

Their post-ipo price might follow ABNB trajectory. With all their clients trying to get a piece of the pie.

That is why we get agressive crowdfunding valuations

Give it another couple years then let’s ipo and we can ride the ipo wave up and up and up as freetrade users get the opportunity to stick freetrade themselves in a person’s isa or sipp

There are loads of other factors to consider. We don’t know what kind of expertise and support these new VCs bring to the table as FT embarks properly onto European expansion and needs to scale their teams for the next stage.

I have trust in the FT leadership team and I think we will be rewarded long term. I will buy more FT stock if I am given the chance with the new crowdfund.

Keep is simple! I wouldn’t say it’s that overly, overly, overly simplified. They have a template of 400,000 customers so basically 2/3 of all their customers. That is the biggest poll you could ever get? And it’s only going to keep getting better in my opinion. Freetrade will carry the young’uns through their investment lives and the dinosaurs will lose market share as the years go on.

:clap:t3::clap:t3: Congrats FT for pulling this off.
A HUGE day in our short history :champagne::champagne:

We’ve come a looooong way from those R1 & R2 days and already looking at ~X50 and X25 respectively for those that took the plunge :rocket::facepunch:t3:

I’m extremely positive about the what the team can do with firepower of £35M. This will seriously turbo charge our growth and the outcome for everyone no matter what round they came on board.

Let’s go…

If you’re trying to figure out a company’s valuation, then yes, taking their number of total users and assigning an arbitrary value per user to get the magic number is overly, overly, overly simplified.
