This fund tracks an index of over 1000 stocks in emerging markets across the world. Income will be distributed as cash.
I notice there isn’t any talk on here. Is there anyone else out there who invests in emerging markets be it this one or others?
£EMIM from iShares. Fortunately not a large investment as it’s gone sideways for years.

Ahh so not many liking it so far. I just thought it seems a good time as things seem to be switching up in the world. With different areas now becoming hot spots.
They do say going in on emerging markets is a very long hold which sounds about right.

Emerging markets have had a torrid decade or so.
I still think there’s a strong case for the developing world outperforming over the long term.
I don’t think trackers are the answer though.
I used to hold a couple of active investments, AIE and PHI, which left the index for dust.
That could be mostly luck. But I think there’s much more scope for managers to outperform than in an uber-efficient market like the S&P.
