Vanguard USD Treasury Bond UCITS ETF (GBP) VUTY

This ETF tracks the performance of a broad spread of USD denominated bonds paying a fixed rate of interest issued by the US government.

When you say “a fixed rate of interest “does it mean that the interest rate will not change until maturity? not even with inflation?

Fixed Interest is a general term used for bonds. In a fixed income fund there will be many different bonds which all will be paying different rates.

One my friend told that #IDTG looks better as #VYTY is not hedged against currency risks. Is it true?

Just to bring this under your attention but the VUTY listing description in the app is wrong. It states that income is reinvested into the fund. It should actually state that Income will be distributed. VUTA is the one that reinvests income.
