How do you mean? Surly now they’re in bankruptcy they’re not worth touching. Equity holders will be wiped out.

In the US, the usual process for an insolvent company is Chapter 11 bankruptcy. It has a similar objective, but Chapter 11 allows the management more control.

During administration or Chapter 11, it’s very likely that the company affected will have their shares suspended from trading, by choice or requirement.

Doesn’t look like it. I would only like to know why the price is not updating on FT?

It’s not updating because the stock isn’t trading. They’re in C11 bankruptcy, there is no investment to be had here. If you want exposure you’d have to invest in the bond holders as they’ll be in place to repossess the brand. That said We Work have amassed $17bn in debt - it’s not worth close to that.

What is this then?

OTC stocks are traded ‘off exchange’ - Over the counter. The main listing has been officially suspended by NYSE. Trading in a bankrupt company via OTC is just gambeling and hoping there is another fool who’ll pay more for something worthless.

I am not asking what OTC is, or what to do with my money. I bought $WE before they moved it to OTC, I am asking why the price is not updating within the app.

The ticker symbol you are looking at on Freetrade is $WE when it was still listed on an exchange. It has been delisted and the ticker is now $WEWKQ

I was that fool, lost a few grand on Cineworld

T212 have WEWKQ via OTC on sell only.

I won’t say this very often Brian, but an investment in Cineworld is an order of magnitude more logical!
