GameStop - GME - Share Chat

I believe it’s usually down to illiquidity but in last nights’ case it was due to news of GME joining S&P Midcap 400 soon.

So I bought the dip.

I like my dips with doritos. Not the cheese ones.

Just checked in randomly today and up 20%? I was expecting something next week for when options get renewed but does anyone know what caused the jump today?

Thank you for this. Not been on reddit for a while but there is a lot of evidence that this is all a hangover from January. Next week should be interesting by the sounds of it

Will you be holding until this cycle or wait to see what happens? Tempted to offload some and then buy back in for the next quarter

I won’t be selling any. If it takes off it’ll go quick and may miss the chance to get back in. I’ll be offloading the last of my AMC first. This gamma squeeze could be the catalyst and I don’t want to miss out!

The beauty is in the DDetail.

If only it was that easy. What’s relatively clear is that whatever the bad people did, it causes cyclical behaviour in the stock’s trading patterns. There are plenty of theories regarding what the bad people did. The next part of the jigsaw is what happens when the cycle reaches the point when the price pops? This week, there’s plenty of volatility and upward momentum causes massive margin issues for over-leveraged players. Again, the theory is that at some point, some of the players get reeled in leaving someone else up the chain holding the bag. We’ve already seen that with Archegos.
At some point, the failures get too much, the pressure to cover becomes intense and the price starts to rocket. If you try to day trade the cycle, you could end up missing out.

Last chance to buy methinks before it’s cool for cats. I see this going into the stratosphere Friday AH.
