I’ve just entertained myself reading this thread! They hype was real back in 2020. You could see who was a signed up member to the telegram echo chamber that has liars, snakes and egotistical weasels in it. This thread should be used as a learning tool.
I too got swept up in it, relying on people smarter than you to give you the information and you passing it off as you know what you’re talking about is an 100% sign you’re going to be left holding the bag.
Stuartw from LSE and telegram group took advantage of so many people, built a solid reputation, was buying and adding to a huge holding of a few pence average, showed his buys etc but he sold out at 36/37 after making over a million at no stage did he ever mention the term overpriced but he still sold.
This share has literally been a lesson in AIM. I’ll still end up with a tidy profit on this but the poster above who laughed at some of you calling yourself investors absolutely nailed it with the funds for long term investing and funds for opportunity investing as a strategy. I could have made or lost a fortune over the last 3 years had I not been emotionally invested here.

Many such cases. In fact most of the popular stock discussions on this forum had a similar dynamic (e.g. ARB, AMC).
It’s an interesting reread but perhaps more depressing than entertaining. Certainly a helpful lesson and I keep my token holding as a reminder.
However wouldn’t blame the source of poor information - that places too little responsibility on the reader, I think the problem is just a fundamental lack of Scout Mindset.

Splendid post. I also stay away from AIM. It’s a place for would-be big investors but most companies are simply crap. The only money you should invest on teh AIM is pocket money, no serious investment.
Anyone know why this is down 7% today ?
