iShares U.S. Medical Devices ETF seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of U.S. equities in the medical devices sector
Looks like a US listed ETF
So that’ll be a no, unfortunately
#mifid #rules
There are plenty of US efts available on Freetrade… so why is it a no ?
US ETFs don’t meet the MiFID II rules. Therefore are legally not for sale to European Investors. You can buy them with “accreditation” on other platforms (not Freetrade) but you’ll need $30k in your account to meet the minimum requirements.
US ETFs don’t produce the legal documentation required for European Investors pre-sale.
Annoying. But that’s the rule.
