This British clothing company sells clothing and homeware products inspired by British country lifestyles.
Is anyone else watching this one? It dropped to pre covid levels with a P/E of 2.4.
They have a strong & loyal brand but a fair amount of debt and a tiny profit margin (but that might just be a covid accounting hangover)
Yes itโs on my watchlist but even with the recent big drops Iโm reluctant. Iโm wondering if the brand has had its day and losing the popularity it once had.
If it drops a bit further, I might be tempted. (The Stockopedia info on it makes interesting reading; Iโm keeping a close eye on the momentum stat)
I was thinking of closer to 40p, with a lower P/E but that debt does concern me.
Might be wit for Dunelm to drop further, itโs not the bargain that Joules could be but it is taking a battering at the moment
Iโve taken another step towards deciding whether to invest in Joules, by buying some summer gear from them for my hols in May. (25% off on offer atm)
Iโve had to buy more clothes, as the pandemic lockdown has had a personal negative side effect of somehow increasing both my waist size, and my chest size. Not sure how that happened .
Anyway, I shall report back on fit and quality in due course.
Fit, quality and speed of service all very, very good. And a reasonable price too. Also see from the labels that they sell in US, Canada, and Europe.
Iโm impressed so they are definitely in my new financial year buy list, based not just in above, but on the latest Stockopedia assessment.
Glad I didnโt bite, Iโve not been open to new positions for a while now and this was still on my radar but honestly the scale has tipped towards bankruptcy. It was always on the cards as this was on the bargain or bust list.
Looks like administration now.
I got this one very wrong. Glad I didnโt bet the house on it.
