Kanabo Group - KNB - Share Chat

What an uptick. FWIW as an aftertimer I bought in with a tiny amount after reading this thread at 1.4p on the 21st. Sold half and on a free ride now. Hope you longer termers get some reward for your larger holdings.

I know of many story’s along these lines- some are still here growing own supply, others campaigning parliment! cancer charities have info on cannabis, doctors are doing drug trials- My brother had a Brain Tumour we hoped but it bought him extra time importantly with out cesuras - He would only take the licensed medical stuff and the NHS eventually gave it him :crossed_fingers:t2::mending_heart: good luck everyone :pray:t2:

Wow great spot. If that’s why, and they’ve secured that contract, that’s absolutely epic news. Here’s hoping. Not that I don’t think the cannabis side will do well long term, but I’ve never understood why all the side quests Kanabo have been doing haven’t been reflected in the share price. GP service purchased for 15mil and improved in the 2 years since then but Kanabo as a whole only worth 17?! Bonkers really.

Let’s see if this contract plays out. And if it does what a guaranteed income of 300mil will do.

Very excited for January.

I think if Kanabo are involved I think it likely they get a slice rather than the whole chunk. And even if they do not get a win heee, it shows that Kanabo have their finger on the pulse.

I think the disastorous share price curve over the last two years is a combo of macro and cannabis stock hangover, oh and legislation of course. AIM all share took a dive back into the 1990s this year, it has been a hard year for alternatives. And even worse for Cannabis stocks. After the pandemic hype soke shares (especially on NASDAQ) hit $100+ before taking a deep dive back to sub 50c or sub 0.01p and I think Kanabo is one of the few cannabis stocks that has not had to consilidate share price (well to date). It has been crazy watching stocks like Aurora, Flora, MGC and Canopy literally fall off a planet sized cliff.

Morning Chris, I think KNB have been schooled for this role. Dan Poulter conservative MP and doctor, on the board of directors until early this year. This is how the Tories operate, it’s another big step towards privatisation of NHS services. Another big factor is KNB are unique in being able to offer the vape pod, an easy win for the government in solving the medical cannabis supply issue. No doubt the CE mark will be along anytime as well. It stinks really as this could have been done in house rather than tendering out but what can you do. Might as well take a slice of the pie.
As you can probably tell I am very cynical when it comes to present day politics, it takes a long time to get over having a corrupt government as was the case with Johnson. Sunak just has a little more subtlety about him.
Remember when Ian Mattioli took the chair they said they were embarking on a year of growth and expansion into new markets. Well that year will soon be over.

Wowser, the bumpy road continues. Profit taking, santa rally hangover, lack of news?

Trading mentality, punters not prepared to sit and wait for news.
It’s a buying opportunity if you believe in the company.
Having done a little research it looks to me this Is not a split contract, by that I mean there will be one winner.
I think we are pretty well placed, not often you get a chance like this.

Picked up another 46k today. I don’t think we will be in this range much longer.

Wow how many do you own

470233 KNB I was wanting to get back to my original holding of half a million but funds are tight. That’s probably me finished unless we hang around sub 3p. I can’t see it though with the likelihood of news in the near future. Things could get very interesting.

It is usually you being cynical but in the interest of balance I’ll lead on this thought experiment: If you are right about KNB getting the whole pot (Im entirely doubtful) then this dip could be our market maker friends holding the door open. Although I should add that I’m pretty sure youdid not say explicitly that KNB will get the keys to the online prescription kitty.

Naturally, I hope this is all true.

Follow the contract notice link from digital health.net
Announcement, and you will see as below the contract is not divided. I am not saying KNB have definitely got the contract but this is what they have been working towards these past years so you would think they would be a contender. Disappointing if not but even if this is the case the CE mark must land soon.
I would rather be in and take the risk than be on the sidelines wishing I had taken the plunge.
All IMO of course and DYOR

II.1.6) Information about lots

This contract is divided into lots: No

Just catching up on today’s events. Here’s a question for you learned folk - why does Yahoo finance show 5mil in volume but the LSE page for KNB shows less then 1 Mil? Just a normal discrepancy? Or is it indicative of MM involvement?

Hopefully there’s an RNS in the coming days with some mega news.

Fingers crossed @Inkanabo is correct with the single company NHS contract. Good luck all!

LSE is pants these days, there were only two trades showing most of the day.
I looked at the NHS website for further clarification on the tender so it’s not my opinion but stated as part of the process that the contract is not divided into lots. Makes sense really if you want to present a seamless and efficient upgrade to a digital world.
Whatever is to be we won’t have long to wait to find out as it goes live on the 24th of January.
Day traders rule these days but KNB is a buy and hold for the big rewards IMO.

Back to normal then today :rofl:. On the flip side at least I got another cheeky little top up in.

How disappointing to see no support after such an unusual rally. Still the fundamentals haven’t changed.

Yeah, on no news we are ripe for a thwacking from day traders. It is nothing if not a wild ride. Especially with Germany pushed back to March (for now).

KNB brass are frustratingly circumspect when it comes to releasing news to the market.

You and me both, very strange rise just before new year if it turns out to be just a P&D.
On the matter of the NHS digital pathways tendering.
Maybe several operators will be involved. Even if KNB are not involved could their technology be white labelled ?
Maybe we will get an RNS one day :joy:
