Love how they go about business quietly.

Does feel like real solid strategy as usual. Setting all the pieces up to be primed to capitalise the market.

Kanabo doing side quests while the main story ticks on by.

Hopefully CE/NHS contract imminent.

About time the SP more accurately reflected the value of this company.

I agree with you on the clear strategy. Kanabo are working effectively on all fronts, business by setting up reseqrch to farm to pharmacy, on the investor front woth Mattioli and politically by working woth the CIC.

I think you are also right, the recent positive reaction from investors is a direct consequence of a company that understands their sector and the environment in which they work. I would also be unsurprised if new investors have the CE mark nor the contract on their radar. With the former, you would just as well as requesting divine intervention for speculating on the announcement (which is a when and not an if) and for the latter, I’m not convinced we are in the running. Yet, I remain hopeful that I am innacurate on that assessment

One thing that amazes me and disappoints me somewhat is the distinct lack of any news or coverage on the company. All the various platforms I use to keep an eye on the price show such out of date news as to be pointless.

I think a real media drive is required to get a solid ball rolling. Social media is such an easy win. The more people that know about Kanabo and its various projects the better.

For an up and coming company with its finger on the pulse of the health market, its social media and public relations angle really needs addressing. Another great RNS today showing progress, investment and further development, but I’ve not received any investor email and there’s nothing been put out on any of the platforms as an update. You have to go looking for it - which I do - every half hour - every day :grimacing:.

Unless I’m missing something. Happy to stand corrected.

A recent example is their Instagram page. Not a single post since 03/23 but Treat It put one on about the new clinic. Why they aren’t pumping it is beyond me.

It is absolutely a missing aspect of Kanabo’s approach and I recall moaning about this on and off (likely in here). But maybe the lack of loud marketing is part of the plan.

It does make some sense, at the moment, not to go big on the marketing. Whilst medical cannabis is legal, the industry is burgeoning and who could say which way the story would flow into the public domain. By which I mean that cannabis for recreation purposes is currently legal and neither the national press nor social media platforms at large are known for nuance. I’m not sure all the legislative pieces are put together in a way that would support a proactive approach to marketing.

I think, on balance, Kanabo are going about their business (including marketing and PR) in a careful manner. It gives me confidence in the company, is the upshot of what I am trying to say.

Whilst I agree in part with the benefit of potentially minimising the marketing strategy on the cannabis front - I do think there are enough separate and unrelated aspects to the company (Treat It/GP Service) that would benefit from some more media exposure.

We are all here because we see the potential on all fronts and don’t have any worries long term. But I’d wager there are thousands of potential customers (and more importantly investors), if not tens of thousands, for these services that don’t even know they exist.

Whilst I’m sure they are pushing these in different ways privately, and I fully support the progress they have made thus far in making strong NHS connections - I would like to see a push on its marketing for this side of the company, driven directly by the Kanabo Group to reaffirm its place as the parent company - I mean they already made a point of splitting down and rebranding as the “group” to reflect its diversifying ventures - but have done zero else to market what it’s actually doing. I just don’t think many people actually know what they are more widely involved with. They are so much more than they were when they IPOd.

At the moment I’d say silence is potentially creating some uneasiness in the company. Plus KNB seems to be solely valued on its vape product - which is bonkers given all the other stuff they are pursuing. Or maybe it was priced in but lost due to the dilutions.

Just feels like a missed opportunity to me.

I absolutely agree about getting the message out about the company as a whole and thereby attracting investors rather than day traders, who it would appear from today’s SP movement control the price.
The vape pod technology certainly isn’t priced in yet IMO as again the vast majority of people have no concept of what its medicinal benefits are.
I work as a volunteer with people many of whom could benefit from this, but talking medical cannabis even in a drug and mental health rehabilitation environment is generally met with ignorance and scepticism. The decades of stigma are very hard to remove particularly when you have to deal with politicians who couldn’t lie straight in bed repeating the same tired warnings of the dangers of the herb.
I am tempted to trade this myself but I would rather keep my already substantial holding as I am sure if I sold it would trigger a monumental RNS :joy:

Geoff, if you start trading KNB we may have have to consider excommunication from this worshipful place.*

I have to say I appreciate both you and Zero’s rationale and I am with you both on proncipal. And yet, I’m against the idea, for now. As unpleasant as it sounds, I think back-channeling via the dark arts of lobbying is the only way to clear the way. I think billboards and social media ploys will please us but add pressure on those who enjoy the trappings of power to open the prayer book (to end the theological theme).

I will catch up with your way of thinking, in good time I’m sure.

*pulling your leg here, of course.

Never fear Chris, I know my limitations  and this is not a platform suitable for trading.
I agree that KNB are well connected and have their finger on the pulse regarding how the market will unfold.
The fact we are hoping for news regarding the NHS digital pathways framework tender and they surprise us with a whole new dynamic. The latest development of a walk in service demonstrates how far ahead of the curve they are, when you consider how this might be rolled out across major towns and cities and how that plays into the role of removing the stigma surrounding canna medicine.
Patience is key here for investors while I wish the traders the best of luck, it’s all about the end game for me.
