With the selection of Walz as Harris’s vice presidential pick, the Democratic ticket is the first in U.S. history where both candidates openly back marijuana legalization, while also supporting social equity initiatives to right the wrongs of criminalization.
Stil haven’t logged in to see a massive spike in share price
Well keep trying
Heh… I made a little bit on the last spike. Not holding. With these kinds of shares and the market cap as it is, any significant news would put a rocket on the share price. Just as no news gradually sends this down.
Congrats on the profit. And we are certainly in need of a CE shaped RNS. Recent disadter that is Hellenic Dynamics (KNB has £700k invested/lost) has only compounded the share price disharmony.
Concern about a pseudo recreational market as people are being prescribed more flower than needed with upwards of 30% THC
Recent post on linkedin which includes a link openly inviting investors to meet:
Another short video on LinkedIn giving some insight into the process of dealing with the regulatory process, how the product is so revolutionary the regulator couldn’t understand it. I can believe that
Thanks Geoff for the spot, Ive copied in the link to video. At this stage I would settle for less than revolutionary if it meant getting approval
I agree but someone is going to crack it and when they do that’s a free run at up to 35% of the European market.
What are the chance these linkedin posts are a bid to avoid a fundraise via extra shares? The videos include a link for interested investors to have a chat with the Kanabo brass.
As non ebitda zero companies continue to feel the squeeze via dreaded TrussKwateng/Johnson/Hunt(sp.) econoproblems, Im mentally preparing myself for two events: sub zero (1p) and a fundraise. (More than happy to be wrong on both these concepts)
Until the CE mark is in the pod, I think we may have to become a support group.
For sure something needs to happen, the delay when dealing with government agencies these days is outrageous, all thanks to the Tories with their austerity nothing works anymore
Im happy to lay into the last gov. Especially when it comes to the maltreatment of UK business, but is CE mark fiasco anything to do with the Tories? I thought that was a combo of the change in regulation and Kanabo being the first and, therefore, and unknown regulatory quantity.
I keep hearing about delays in all kinds of transactions governance departments these days, often running into years.
Agreed the vape pod is a first of its kind to seek CE approval so those involved in the process would need to get up to speed in certain aspects of the application. The device itself is very straight forward which leaves the pods and their contents. This is where I suspect the problem lies, there is no way of teaching people about medical cannabis without them having personal experience, they just don’t get it.
So how does a regulatory body judge the safety and efficacy of something they don’t understand.
They should outsource the work. Or maybe talk to the Israeli government as they certified the vape pod as medical grade.
I think this is an interesting point, and in a sense outlines the nascency of the medical use of cannabis. When it comes to regulation learning about medical cannabis will have to follow from a concensus formed by the 100s of studies that have outlined use and dosage for treatable conditions such as chronic pain, epilepsy, MS, anxiety, cancer symptoms and on on.
The large studies are also happening: in the UK a study on pain has 20k participants. Johns Hopkins in the US has a 10k sample and in the EU, there is a big study around the use of Epidolex.
Maybe the last barrier is not efficacy or dosage but the prescription. Fairly small patient sizes in the UK and Germany at the moment.
The clear plan, ts actually out of date. Will be updated in September.
