This will allow users to hedge their positions in a UK market. Without selling all their positions in a down market. Plus it’s a nice tool to have.

You’ll not find any support for short or leverage from the FT team, it goes against the ethos of the founders.
A bear market is recorded drop of 20%, were not in that territory.
I never said we were in a bear market right now and thanks I know what a bear market is in % terms.
Thanks for your response though as FT haven’t bothered.
£XUKS - they have this which gives the inverse (shorts) the ftse 100. Blows your FT ethos out then.
