Be Jesus that’s some divs and can I ask what’s RCH
Look at total pay for 2006/2007 can you imagine 10 times more esp tho below with getting £500+ now
Reach plc. Lloyds is from 41000 shares. Used to have 85000 but sold to buy more Tesla
That’s the most recent gap, there is another longer gap from ~ 2009-2014 I guess that started with the aftermath of the financial crisis
External pressures like government ‘requests’ would still concern me if I were looking to build a long term steady dividend payer.
As @Dave pointed out the GFC destroyed the dividend income and also wiped out huge amount of shareholder capital.
Dividend yield must be high on this,im in
Yup. Good considerations. People need to consider whether the Bank and the environment that led to the Banking crisis of 2008 is materially different from today. Then weigh up and decide what level of risk they wish to take on.
Not really that high tbh
There is no way you thought a share was gonna pay you £1.33 per share when the shares are at about 45 pence?
I was replying to the guy who thought he was getting £1.33 per share
Anyone else still not received payment for their dividend? It’s showing up in my activity but the money never showed in my balance.
I find the money is normally already in my account before I get notified so depending on when you checked your balance you might be looking for extra (if that makes sense)
Mine has been paid
Ive had it before where the money has arrived before the notification so id already re-invested it. If you’ve bought something lately you may have done the same. Its really annoying tbh
Ive often raised the delay between the inApp balance being updated and the receipt of the notification (both inApp activity feed and email) (along with many requests for stock ticker to be included on anything related to an instrument/stock).
I also wrote to Lloyds to ask when they made the payment to Freetrade as the divi was in HL the morning of 19th but not until the following week in FT.
No reply from Lloyds yet.
Lloyds advised to check with Equiniti…
Slopey shoulders?
Equiniti is the company that deals with the share plans for LBG, so would process any dividend payment instructions on their behalf.
Payment that I received directly from LBG hit my bank account early morning of the payment date, would suggest to me it was with FT on the date of payment.
Ouch. The last couple of days have been bad
Tell me about it. This interest rate increase has not been good for my shares.
Been a good couple of days for no obvious reason. Not that I am complaining
