Why suddenly Tesco bank? I thought that would be a doing well company being part of massive Tesco brand?

Looks like it’s the card and savings part of the business and ability to be able to cross sell. Maybe Tesco want to offload the administrative burden.

In the coming recession, Tesco will want to stick with things that make money.

Current accounts do not make money and drive little incentives.

I made the mistake of buying at 50p plus, I am tempted to sell a few to average down.

These should keep rising, after all they are looking to increase the dividend yield (8% if I remember correctly).

One thing is for sure if it drops back to sub 45p at any time I’ll buy more.

Have we found out what Lloyds are planning to do with the Telegraph loan repayment money yet?
My understanding was they’d written most of it off so it should be mostly profit at this stage.

Here’s hoping for an increased dividend next year.

Average price just over 42p for me, again holding for the long term and will await the 2024 dividends.

Hello all. Looks like the SP is dropping again. No worries from here il top up at 45p again

I’ve sold my LLOY position on the 27th of December, and I am not planning to buy their shares again in the near future.

Here is an article on LLOY by John Kingham. The red flags are quite concerning.

Best of luck
