Those recommendations could be months out of date. they might have said it was a strong buy a year ago, in which case they were right
also they can’t predict the future…

Hear the saying “look out for number one” some of these recommendations are not meant to help you. They push a narrative “you should buy now whilst it’s cheap” in doing so you and millions like you help push the price up high enough to where the advisor or his/her friends can exit and start promoting the next stock.
Your next question might be so I should do the opposite… not exactly. Some may be testing the water to see what traction can be built, if the stock starts moving they build a small position and build that as the stock grows.

After careful consideration I have sold my remaining shares in Lloyds, made an overall profit on the deal so happy with that, Moving my cash more into ETF’s as part of my overall investment strategy.

Im still bullish on Lloyds so was the Motley Fool until the last sentence.
I’m growing my stake with Lloyds, slowly. But I think long term it will be ok

Has anybody received yesterday’s expected dividend payment yet? Freetrade have been very quick to apply all of my UK dividends so far, usually on payment day, but this one hasn’t hit yet.

If nobody has had it, I can sit and wait. If everyone has had it, I can raise a support request.
There have been dividend payment issues before - its prudent to keep a check of what you’re expecting vs what you receive.

I didn’t even realize it was due :-). I haven’t looked into this one. I’m guessing dividends about a tenner a share?

I received it yesterday from Hargreaves Landsdown but FT yet to pay.
I got mine …all £1.34 of it lol

HL will likely have slightly faster processing of dividends because … £11.95 per trade and all!

Lol good point, but tbf usually there isn’t much difference. Still not got it though. 
Sometimes I find the email or push notification comes a few hours after the dividend payment is in my account. So the dividends might be in your account already.
