@GDowsett19 as per your questions:
- Once you have the feature (which we rolling out through this week and next) you will be able to set it up from your portfolio or directly through any instrument screen
- As an android User myself I am glad to say that yes Android will be rolling out with iOS at the same time
- Keep your eyes peeled during the next few days and it should be arriving with you soon
- And yes this feature will be available for all account types, GIA, ISA, SIPP and even ISKs for our Swedish users
Is the recurring orders feature working for others?
If a standing order is your thing this could be done.
I know 212 offer a bank transfer (wire transfer) option.
If Freetade choose to allow this then you can take freetrades bank account details, enter your account number as a payee reference and set this up as as a payee within your online banking app.
Once done set a standing order for once a week month or whatever else, and it’s done!
Then all you need to worry about is what’s for dinner and what will you buy when the new money arrives in account.
The recurring order invests amounts from your balance into investments periodically at the frequency selected, bit of a different thing (standing orders can already set up, and direct debits too).
@SpaceTrader It’s working ok for me. Is it not for you? If so, what’s the issue you are experiencing actually is, and what you are trying to set up?
@JimmyJ It isn’t working for me. When trying to open it through the ‘Recurring Orders’ option in the app homepage, it just keeps kicking me out of the app and going to my PIN entry page. When trying to enable it from the stock details page, the button just keeps spinning.
I have tried force closing the app and clearing cache, still having the same issue.
That sounds like a bug.
I suggest chatting with support about it
Had reported it and it’s (sort of) fixed now.
