Fair points. Donāt think it moves much from here until news from CD&R or Apollo - which has seemed to appear on weekendsā¦
I for one hope the deal collapses. I donāt want to see my favourite supermarket ruined by predatory asset strippers!
All shares would be sold at the deal price.
Iām going to cash in Monday and move my money into Sainsburyās
I think il.hold bit longer and see what comes out of it. Itās one of my few stocks that are actually green at the minute and itās nice to see
I canāt understand why the share price would go above the offer price. So selling now would be loosing out. Obviously it your have better plans for the investment elsewhere and you dont want to wait I can understand.
What ever the deal price ends up being thatās the price share holders will get. I want to get our now, take my profits and move into what I think will be a bigger play, need to get my Sainsburyās now though to get the best value⦠just my opinion
Thanks for taking the time to post. Itās Appreciated.
22% of share holders against accepting 254p currently. I wonder if this is gamesmanship or they genuinely donāt want to sell.
Share price is 268p. If I sell now seems like Iād be better off than waitingā¦ā¦
Is it the end of Morrisons
Currently now sitting at £2.79 per share
A sad day for the legacy of the founder of the company, for the staff, for the best vertically integrated supply chain of all the supermarkets and for shoppers like me who really like the stores and their own brand range.
Let the asset stripping and cost cutting begin!
Iām relatively new to investing, but can anyone tell me what happens to Morrisons shares when the private equity company takes over?
I agree itās very sad whatās happening, I worked for Morrisons as a Manager for 10 years, I left in 2018, very fare company, well paid jobs, full time shop floor staff salary 21k thatās excluding 2 x bonus.
