Hi all
In the recent Roadmap Update, we shared details on some new order types coming up on your Freetrade app.
These will include setting a price and defining a number of whole shares.
As part of this work, we’re releasing a new, improved order experience.
When you buy or sell a share, we’ve simplified the final screen in the flow to show the amount, including the FX conversion, latest price and o. of shares, all in one place before you confirm your buy.
This is rolling from today on iOS and will follow on Android shortly.
Let us know what you think, and keep checking in on updates as we introduce more order types and much more to your app.
When you invest, your capital is at risk. The value of your portfolio can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you invest.

I just tried on an iPad and I’m seeing the old screen so I guess it’s not been turned on yet.
It’s gradually rolling out so you may not get it immediately.

Not sure… I have asked this same question in the Beta group. It reads as if it is the ‘live’ price but it could just be the price displayed in Freetrade ‘as at etc.’

@userfy_123 @hrochfor1 The latest price shown on the confirmation screen is the latest market price we’ve received from our data vendors.
You can view the timestamp of the latest price at the bottom of your instrument details page (see screenshot below).
We’re working on making this more clear in the new order flow and I will keep you posted!

I’m liking how the price and breakdown is clearer. Great work as usual
