I don’t hold PLTR but if I did I wonder if I’d be selling now. Great company but PE of ~250 sounds alarming!

This company is still in early stages of growth even though it was founded in 2003 it’s taken a lot of Experience to lay down the foundations in their particular field and a lot of hard work By Alex and his team to reach this point and they are only at the beginning of becoming one of the big names, Get aboard this Train before it leaves the station because the track it’s on is a Long one.

PLTR is currently sitting at $57.79 at the time of writing this and it’s rising, A well known Stock analyst has made a prediction saying that this stock could soon reach $85.00 or beyond, What are your thoughts on this.
Institutions are buying in as investors are looking at PLTR more as a long term investment.
They offer real time business situation to normal everyday Company’s, Streamlining their operations and of course there is the Government Contracts as well as Military Contracts one of the latest being a $1B over 5 years with the Navy. This stock Will undoubtedly continue to go up and is sure a Top 10 stock for many years to come.

My personal view is that at some point the big funds will want to buy this up at a lower valuation so I think there will be a lot of volatility and buying opportunities. I maybe completely wrong and the dip might not happen but I’m setting up buy orders at a much lower price and then DCA in. Based on my research Snowflake was at a very high similar PE compared to its peers and dropped back down after the initial surge.

I’m holding off on buying at this level and won’t consider it unless the price settles down. Sure, I might miss out on another rally, but there’s also a risk of a substantial “loss” in my portfolio. With the odds at about 50-50, I’d rather allocate this cash elsewhere for now. That said, it’s still on my watchlist.

I really like the analysis and delivery in this video and specifically for PLTR at about 15 minutes in. Worth watching the whole video as he also talks about Buffett stock piling cash.
Regretting selling far too early on this one. No sign of a pull back either just yet

It’s ballooned into by far my largest position and I’m up nearly 600%, however the valuation is starting to get a bit insane so have been trimming chunks at this level.
No factories/warehouses, no massive workforce, no sourcing and buying of raw materials, no transport costs, no real competition, can’t see them being affected by any Black Swan events and they have a product that just about every Company/Government/ Military on the planet will eventually be using.
Apart from that and the fact they are already making money hand over fist i can’t see much of a future for them

As you know I have been very bullish on PLTR for quite a while now and i can see no slowdown in the price of the Stock maybe reaching $70 in the coming weeks , Let me know your views

Think you maybe right, I’ve always struggled at buying in at a higher price that I have sold for before. Seems strong at the minute for sure!
That is some serious volatility over two days of trading! Down 10% this morning.
I agree with @NeilR i saw some drop at market open dropped below $59 but I think that people were taking profit and that’s no bad thing, Has picked up a little to $62+ at time of writing, I still believe it is a moon stock

Ok PLTR announced that they have transferred to the NASDAQ and expect to be trading beginning on the 26th November 2024
this will have several benefits for the Company including : Increased Visibility, Index Eligibility and more interest and investor appeal amongst other things, Karp is looking to make PLTR one of the best and most prominent and profitable Companies in the world and i for one am very happy with their progress

Well people @ 15.20 this afternoon 03/12/24 PLTR Broke through the $70 barrier.
I would expect $80 at this rate by the end of the Month. It will be interesting to see where they are at the next earnings call on February 03

Well good Morning my fellow Palantirians at close of play on Friday 6th December they closed @ $76.43 and looking at the Pre Market prices on Yahoo Finance it’s up 6.4% this Morning to $80.95 and rising, So all is looking fine this Monday morning.
