*Excuse the pun in the title, I couldn’t resist.
According to City AM, the UK holiday operator is mulling over either a sale or an IPO of the business.
Center Parcs did float on the AIM in 2003, moving to the main market before being taken private by its owner, Blackstone, in 2005. It was then sold to its current owner, Brookfield, for £2.4B.
Sources say that the business is valued at around $3bn, which would make it a fairly substantial UK IPO if it were to go public.
I’ve never personally been to Center Parcs, but having grown up in the UK I know how popular they are, especially with young families.
What are your thoughts on its potential public prospects?
