Revolut - Company Chat

I asked what you thought the 2021 revenue figure will be.

Not what you think profit/loss will be.

That’s not answering the question Brian.

Now over 25m customers…gaining 5m in the last 4 months.

That’s like gaining a Monzo in 4 months. :exploding_head:

Please take with a pinch of salt what Altfi publish. Revolut fan boys,I think amongst the 5 million will be people who have simply looked at the APP :flushed::thinking::sweat_smile:

Why are you so reluctant to share your opinion? I have absolutely no idea what their turnover will be.

Oh my goodness this is tough! I am saying their losses will double from the last time they released their financials. If for example their losses last time were £150 million then i think they will double to £300 million, what is so difficult about understanding that?
You really are quite slow?

But you claim their loss will double?

Profit or loss = revenue - costs.

How can you say losses will double if you have ā€˜no idea’ what revenue will be?

Oh dear.

It’s a guess. But one that is also easier to guess than guessing the revenue.

  1. Each user has a fixed cost to Revolut, regardless what he/she spends
  2. If too many people join in a kind of passive way: get the account, maybe the cheapest card, they cost money to Revolut
So Revolut will have higher costs but not necessarily higher profits or revenue.

There is a saying ā€œNo news is good newsā€ do we all agree that Revolut not releasing it’s financials is good news?:rofl::rofl:

Good old Revolut the Company that likes to portray itself as a bank WHEN it suits??

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love said to me??
When are Revolut going to release their financials for year 21/22

If you ignore all the fraud warnings and send your life savings to someone claiming to be from Virgin Money(!?) I’m not really sure how Revolut can be expected to reimburse you.

That’s directly on her. So many red flags she directly chose to ignore.

Agreed. If someone picks your pocket, is it M&S’s fault, because you bought your coat there?

Why didn’t she just say ring me back after i have rung virgin money to see if you really are the fraud department?

Probably flustered. They know what they’re doing when pulling this sort of con.
Doesn’t change the fact she should have been prepared, and hopefully that sort of newstory will help others not fall for the same thing

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

I have some news that won’t surprise anyone??

Only the 3rd time they have extended providing their financials??

Unfortunately, for thousands of people daily this isn’t as logical as many would believe.

Coupled in with the fact that these scammers make a living off using high pressure tactics that work particularly well with vulnerable individuals, it’s all too often people fall for these.

Slightly off topic, but there is a real problem within the UK (and potentially abroad too) with customers being unknowingly complicit in the fraud.

I wonder how the meeting went??

And the wait goes on and on and……
